2015 Registered Quarter Horse Filly
This filly is classy! She’s bred to be a barrel horse with stars and Leading Sires all over her pedigree. At least as important, she is built to be a barrel horse!
Her dam is a gorgeous, kind mare from Firewaterontherocks’ first crop. He is Fire Water Flit’s highest earning son and a great barrel sire in his own right. Another of his limited first crop has already qualified to the NFR and several have futurity earnings.
One Slick Possum was an incredible mare we were privileged to own. She was everything we want in a mare. She had a great pedigree (her dam won the the All American Futurity). She was quiet, kind and smart, pretty and correct, and she was a great producer. “Cassie”, as we call Possum on Fire, might just be as good as her dam. While it is well proven that Firewaterontherocks is a great barrel horse sire we think he’s going to go down as a great broodmare sire too!
We are very excited about this cross between Cassie and Perks. This filly is smooth, pretty, a very nice mover and so athletic. Both her parents are easy horses to get along with. Really, the only negative about her is her less than popular color. Sold! Thank you Mandy Terry from Texas!
