2015 Solid Sorrel APHA Registered Paint Gelding
This colt is big and absolutely gorgeous! And what an exceptional pedigree for a variety of disciplines that require size, movement, power and a good mind. His sire, Golden Slew, is a remarkable sire with a world class pedigree and all the size and substance you could ever want. The Seattle Slew horses are known to make show horses as well as race horses.
His dam produces a wonderful horse every time. She has produced great colts and happy customers for us from Ontario, Canada to Virginia to Arizona to Washington state.
She is a daughter of My Indian Money. Like all of his daughters, she is a big, pretty mare with lots of depth, bone and muscle. Her dam, Babes Marker, was an exceptionally sweet and kind mare who was a granddaughter of a Skipper W bred National Champion halter horse. She was a heeling and team penning horse before we bought her, a broodmare while we had her, and a kids horse after we sold her to a good friend.
This colt has as nice a shoulder as you’ll find. His hip is long and powerful. He has a tremendous stride – he just floats. He can be loping along behind a bunch of running horses, switch gears and he’s suddenly in front. He’s got lots of bone, good feet, and plenty of power.
He’s the sweetest horse – loves people and everyone falls in love with him.

This horse could go a lot of directions. He’s such a powerful, long strided, balanced mover we think he’d excel as a sporthorse. He’s a dressage prospect, cross country prospect and more.
He has a pretty good start under saddle but is definitely not ready for a beginner because he still over-reacts on occasion. He can be cinchy and tense when you get on and then he rides nice. Time under saddle is helping him but he still needs a quiet, patient, experienced rider at this point. And besides, he’s got so much talent he deserves an experienced rider to help him achieve his potential.
