2000 Bay Quarter Horse Mare

Big, elegant, beautiful own daughter of noted Thoroughbred sire of Quarter Horses, For Really out of a Merridoc, Hempen, Easy Jet mare.  She’s AA herself and bred to a dun, money earning reining horse.

This mare is so pretty – she has a halter horse head, she’s correct, and she has a big, long hip.  In addition, she is classy and smoothly put together.  Of course she should be pretty and her success on the track is no surprise either – look at how well she’s bred.  There really are no holes anywhere in her pedigree.

She’s good to handle but not extra easy to catch in a big pasture.  She’s near but not at the top of the pecking order here.  We were told she’s broke beyond track broke but probably isn’t sound so we’ll price her and sell her as a broodmare and if you get a riding horse too, that’s a nice bonus.

In addition to being a AA race winner herself, she is also a AA producer.  We’d guess she stands about 15.3 – she’s tall!

She’s bred for 2013 to Don’t Doc, a dun, money-earning grandson of Doc’s Remedy on the top and Doc’s Hickory on the bottom.  He’s a super fun little horse and should be a great cross on this mare.  The colt is bound to have the prettiest head ever and should have loads of performance potential.  We sure didn’t plan to sell this mare but the dry conditions here dictate we let her go.

This mare was originally registered Appendix but since she has an ROM in racing, she is eligible to move to the regular registry and get regular AQHA papers.  Her foal next year will get regular AQHA papers.  Sold – thank you Sylvia and Harold from Sask, Canada!
